Acumatica Cloud ERP Version 5.0 – Integrated Features your CEO/CTO wants for their business

We were excited to be part of this new release, Acumatica is proud to announce their new version 5.0 during Partner summit in Denver, Colorado, August 2014.

There has been significant number of features added to Ver 5.0 across various modules of product suite, we would like to highlight some of the features that’s will impact your decisions to move to Acumatica Cloud ERP or upgrade to latest version.

New Version 5.0 Features

1. Single Sign On (SSO) 

It now supports Windows Azure Active directory, Google and Windows Live ID. Sign on once and you are active across multiple applications that you use in your day-day activities.

2. User Interface:

New improved user interface helps productivity and scalability to various devices, being responsive is important at the same time providing users with interface to conduct business such as multi-selection of records and updating mass records, option to create filters and navigation hot spots.

Home page with dashboard interface, allows to change your skin, look and feel. 

Filters allow to perform mass updates/activities

3. Exchange Integration

Acumatica integrates with Microsoft Exchange seamlessly, sync all your business emails with Acumatica and Exchange,/Office 365

Keep all your customers, vendors and partners email in sync no matter where you are and if you are using Outlook, Mobile or Cloud ERP all emails are sync’d.

4. B2B Ordering

Your customers, vendors are asking for their transaction documents such as payment made, customer statements, invoices Or better yet they want to create support case, incidents or update their information Or even better they want to place an order online.

All of this is now possible with Ver 5.0, Acumatica introduces B2B Ordering and Customer portal.

5. Multi-Warehouse Allocation

Your business is growing and want to operate multi-location warehouse and still be able to allocate stock for incoming orders, you can easily do it now in version 5, it support allocation rules per location

6. MySQL Support

Acumatica is database agnostic, we have heard this feature as Acumatica was built from ground up but only in Version 5 it’s now made fully capable to store your Enterprise data in MySQL database.

Acumatica supports Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2 and above, with this latest version customers now have choice to use MySQL, an Open source database and cut their database cost.

The Acumatica ERP application can now be installed on MySQL database servers. Moreover, company snapshots created in the application are portable between Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. Your ROI just doubled.

 7. Mobile Application Framework

There will be 196 million smartphone users by 2016 in US alone, is your ERP ready? Can your employees access Enterprise critical data on their phones, iPad/Tablet so they could be mobile and still perform their tasks and activities?

With Version 5 Acumatica introduces mobile application framework and has native iPhone and Android app that allows to extend your Cloud ERP to mobile devices.

8. Improved Customization Manger/Web Services API

Web service is fabric of third party integration, with version 5.0 Customization manager has been improved for easier handling of customizations.

The Versioned Web Service endpoints allow you to select which fields and actions should be exposed in your web service, making it easier to manage different versions of your customizations.

9. Discount & Price Engine


With the Acumatica ERP pricing engine improvements, you can easily configure and maintain sales and purchasing prices to help your company implement any pricing strategy that will increase sales and will minimize purchasing costs.

Finally we can’t do anything without searching these days, Acumatica has improved search and extended its search capabilities across the application, so now you can search with context keyword on all your transactions, documents, Wiki help and everything that resides within Cloud ERP.
